Om Lertøj

“LERTØJ”, is a Pottery-shop situated in the centre of Aarhus. It is owned by a group of studio-potters from East Jutland. The shop has existed since 1972. In the shop you will mostly find classical ceramics meant for daily use, but we also exhibit and sell more experimental and decorative works from the shop. Now and then, Lertøj also invites other artists to exhibit their works in the shop.

The members of Lertøj use many different techniques when it comes to forming, decorating and burning their ceramics. Please visit the different artist’s galleries to gain a better understanding of what types of crafts they do.
